With the possible saturation of
resort development in Mabini comes the high possibility
of setting up such business in Tingloy. The island-municipality
also has a long expanse of white sand beach where
such facility can be an ideal business. However,
there should be an impressive and highly thematic
type of development in the area because of its
relative long distance from the mainland.
The western part of the island,
especially Sepok Point is highly ideal for resort
development which can include high-end facilities.

This should be limited to the local community members.
However, a private entity to do the marketing and
the development of the program would also have to
be developed. The advantage of Tingloy over Anilao
in Mabini is that there is almost zero number of
traditional fishing boat in the latter while many
local folks of Tiungloy are still engage in this
activity, and still own traditional fishing boats. |

Development and Marketing
Using the local community members as partners in
handicraft development, ideal tourism products can
be developed in the area. It is also highly recommended
that the materials to be developed be made into
a commodity available to a wider market base beyond
the tourist markets visiting Tingloy. |
